The moment we drove the car into the service reception we were greeted and shown to the waiting area . The Sytner staff asked what plans we had whilst we waited and arranged a taxi to take us into the city centre while the recall was completed .

The service area is extremely clean and highlights the care that is taken with your vehicle. My only suggestion would be to have the opportunity to meet the mechanic that actually serviced your vehicle so that you can ask any questions directly.

It took 4 weeks to carry out works that didn't resolve the issues. Told works were completed only to find my vehicle was in worse condition that when taken. No interest from BMW Uk in the root cause that was first raised until original warranty.

The service was for an EGR recall. The service was excellent.There was a visual check of the vehicle & a number of advisories issued.However the prices quoted were v high.Eg £64 to replace my front wipers. I bought the same and fitted them for £22

On the day my car was brought in I was told it would be ready by 1:30pm. I didn't get the car back until 5pm. The lack of communication was poor. I went to town as I was told 3 hours and then to find out it would be end of the day was unacceptable.

Would have been a 5* but the service engineer forgot to reset the service notification which I had to point out after my car was returned to me. This was, however, immediately rectified by the Service Advisor

I experienced a problem with auto hold not working and had to use the foot pedal instead. This issue self corrected when I reached home, turned the engine off manually and restarted. This has happened before.

I am really happy with the work done the only complaint is that the car could have had a complimentary valet. If I have just spent nearly £2k you could have cleaned it- Mercedes does with any work
